Remnant Remedy is excited to announce that we have two new products for mouth care: Perio-Gin Mouth Remedy which is an essential oil blend and Period-Gin Mouth Rinse which is a hydrosol blend.
Perio-Gin Mouth Remedy (essential oil): This is an essential oil blend formulated to use for mouthwash and/or gargle to aid mouth infections, gingivitis, periodontal disease, gums, abscessed teeth, post dental surgery and/or sore throat.
Contains: Birch, Clove Bud, Manuka, and Niaouli –– NEAT (undiluted with no carrier oil added).
Manuka essential oil offers a powerful punch to fight bacteria and is considered 20x stronger than Tea Tree and helps regenerate cell tissues much like Helichrysum italicum at only a fraction of the cost. Birch for its traditional use to aid bone stimulation and for pain relief. Clove traditionally used for pain relief and antibacterial properties. Niaouli for cell stimulation, anti-viral and analgesic, anti-inflammatory properties.

In addition to or instead of Perio-Gin Mouth Remedy essential oil blend, consider using individual Hydrosols (blend your own) which are traditionally used for mouth rinse and gargle such as Frankincense Hydrosol, Sandalwood Hydrosol and/or Tea Tree Hydrosol.

*CAUTION: Wintergreen and Birch both contain methyl salicylate. Methyl salicylate may be good for many people, but, for some it’s not (Robert Tisserand). Many sports muscle pain relief products contain such and have been overused causing fatalities. This may occur from oral and topical OVERUSE. The Birch in this formula is 3% of the total formula and is considered, for most, safe.
Do NOT misuse or overuse. If you are **pregnant, breast feeding, or are on blood thinner medications or are allergic to aspirin, DO NOT USE this blend.
If needed, contact us and we will formulate a custom blend for you and EXCLUDE the Birch oil.
**According to expert Robert Tisserand, “salicylates” in sufficient amounts, are teratogenic which means, if too much is used, there could be malformation of an embryo. DO NOT USE if pregnant.
